Notice is hereby given that I, Deborah Wengert the Tax Collector for the Town of Burlington, County of Otsego, State of New York, upon receiving the tax rolls and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Burlington for the year 2026 shall collect said taxes at the Town Clerk’s office Mondays : 9-1 pm. and on Tuesdays: 9-1 pm. Taxes may also be dropped off in our drop box or mailed to us at: 6011 St. Hwy 51, Burlington Flats, NY 13315. You may also call the tax collector to make an appointment for a more convenient time. Take further notice; taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2026 without charge or interest. On all such taxes remaining unpaid after January 31, 2026 there shall be added interest of one per cent um for the month of February and an additional one per cent um for each additional month, until such taxes paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the county Treasurer pursuant to law.
